ProjectSafeRide - Terms of Use

 These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ProjectSafeRide mobile application (“App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

ProjectSafeRide is designed to remind drivers to check their vehicles to help prevent leaving children or pets unattended. The App provides notifications based on motion activity and significant location updates from your device.

2. No Guarantee

While the App is intended to assist drivers, it cannot guarantee safety. You remain solely responsible for ensuring the safety of children, pets, and passengers in your vehicle.

3. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App.

  • Use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

  • Use the App in a manner that could impair its functionality or interfere with others’ use.

5. Data Use

The App uses motion activity and location services only to detect driving status and send reminders. As explained in our Privacy Policy, your data is processed locally on your device and is not shared with third parties.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, about the App’s reliability, accuracy, or ability to prevent accidents.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to failure of the App to send reminders.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
